Everytime I come, there is always NEW (water sport) thing in Bali, or maybe I have to come more often? This time is Wind-Boarding.
Geger Beach is in Nusa Dua area (South Bali), so it towards Indian Ocean. It is a nice public beach, but some hotels here have cooperation to operate their beach club here. We stay in The Bale which is very close 3 minutes to Geger Beach, just across the street,
The best thing of Geger Beach: its warm sand. And you can enjoy it at your pace, at your very own, & the world seems to slow down. Serene & solitude, but activity such as swim & sunbathing (is free) would be great, as well as watersporting as canoe, wind boarding, etc are also within reach. It is absolutely complete: the white sand, clear sea & clean beach. Barefoot is the best way to get the full enjoyment.
From the local canteens/cafes in the beach, we ordered pizza & (local) orange juice cost us +- USD 7 & USD 1.20, it billed to your hotel room without any tax when you pay the bill later. From our conversation with hotel staff, the (people of the) village manage this beach, keep this beach as what we enjoy: the beautiful nature in a clean, calm & kind environment with any good standard price good-quality facilities (F&B, watersport gears), we dont need to bargain hard, just lay down & enjoy.
